About a month ago I proposed to CAQ that in the lead up to the membership drive all our clubs should be offered a modern, fresh, customisable webpage on their own domain.
When piloting the comeandtrycroquet.com at East Brisbane I put a tracker on the visitor, and nearly 70% immediately googled their matched club after signing up. Our clubs need to be there to tell people about themselves at this moment.
Lots of our clubs don't have webpages. I want to change that to increase external awareness of croquet.
Not only that I want it to be simple as possible for literally anyone to edit the website.

As you roll over the different text parts you will be able to click and edit any text on the page.
There are messages down the bottom about the saving of the changes. It saves every 60 seconds.
When the message at the bottom is green you can reload the page and the change should remain in place.
Please tell me if
a. you make a change, it says saved, but on reload it wasn't there
b. any failures, can't click on text, can't type in the box (ENTER = accept, there is no new line ability)
c. the status bar at the bottom of the page gives red errors (tell me what they are)
D. IT IS A SUCCESS! please tell me if you tested it and it worked, and what you tested it on. Desktop/Phone + Apple/Windows-Other.
It does/should work on phones but really this should be a desktop tool.
I need you to test it because this is quite a novel bit of software which as far as I'm aware hasn't been used in this situation. Often I adopt other's proven methods but this is @CroquetClaude and my efforts (more its than mine) made unique for croquet. The reason why will become obvious after we do this test and I move onto the next part.
