myCroquet — the membership system

One login, not two systems: club secretaries manage their own members directly, and CAQ reviews every change.

myCroquet (my.croquetqld.org) is CAQ's member platform — one place for a club's own records, membership, and the growing set of things clubs used to do through RevSport or a spreadsheet. It replaces the old workaround of paper forms, photos of forms, and phone calls to untangle bad entries.

One login, not two systems

There is one account type. Every member gets the core — logging in, seeing their own details — and further capability is switched on for the people who need it, at the club or association level. A club secretary doesn't get a separate "admin account"; they get the same kind of login as everyone else, with the Membership capability turned on for their own club. That is deliberate: one clean system that grows with what a person actually does, not a second, separate platform to maintain.

Logging in doesn't need a password — a link is sent to your email each time.

What it does today

The module clubs use most is Membership: a club secretary adds, edits and deactivates their own club's members through a simple form that checks entries as they're typed (phone numbers formatted, names cleaned, emails normalised), and a secretary cannot touch another club's records. Changes go to CAQ for review before they land in the shared database, with a full audit trail.

Behind Membership sits one shared, clean database — the same records every other module builds on, rather than a club's own copy drifting out of sync with CAQ's.

Getting access for your club

Access is being switched on club by club rather than all at once, so each club's secretary gets a proper introduction to the form rather than being handed a login with no explanation. If your club hasn't been onboarded yet, or you're not sure who at your club currently has access, get in touch and we'll sort it out.

What's coming

Membership is the foundation the rest of myCroquet is being built on — modules already running or in testing cover things like a club's own profile page, event bookings, and Come & Try itself. As each one is ready for general use it will be introduced here.
