Sponsorship
-
Our club would like to engage some of our sponsors in supporting this event. Are there any restrictions on this?
-
Because each Club will be hosting their own event, there should be no issues or conflicts engaging with your regular sponsors and supporters. The only factor to consider is if, for example, your Council is a sponsor and there are other Clubs in the same Council area... maybe an opportunity to collaborate - give the sponsor wider coverage and nearby Clubs can cross-promote if running events at different times??

@Kylie-Dwyer Great point about local councils. Most are happy to promote activities such as these. As well as sharing our project graphic/poster, would participating clubs appreciate some help from CAQ with what to say to their local council? I guess it might depend on how informal your relationship is?

@PennyVerrall I think having at least a 'starter text' is very helpful and everyone can decide how to best deliver that depending on their current relationship
Can we provide something like this (with the extra pertinent details, tags, links added when available)
