Pine Rivers Croquet Club at Brendale welcomed 16 guests to experience croquet and were provided with a sumptuous High Tea afterwards. After postponing the event because of Cyclone Alfred, we were blest with a very hot and sunny day. Cath Tonks, patron of our Club and local Moreton Bay Regional Councillor visited for the occasion. One of our sponsors provided a great lucky door prize, which was won by one of the participants. 16 members attended and many home-baked goods were appreciated. We will follow up with our guests and hope to entice some of them to return to enjoy more croquet.
