The Point Lookout Croquet Club hosted a successful High Tea and Come & Try Day on Saturday. Over 60 guests participated in the event, which was held to celebrate International Women's Day and raise funds for Yoorana, an organisation aiding women impacted by domestic violence. The event raised a total of $681.00. Attendees engaged in croquet activities on the lawns, enjoying various games and learning to play the sport. Club members contributed by preparing high tea sandwiches and cakes and assisting with setup prior to the arrival of guests. The event was supported by state member John Barounis MP and his team, who have pledged ongoing support for the club. This event could not have happened without the commitment of all our members. Well done to everybody and we would like to thank CAQ and the Queensland Government for funding this event.
