Club news gets published faster, pulled straight from clubs' own channels
An AI classifier and polisher built to turn a club's own Facebook or website posts into publish-ready news across all 41 clubs. Paused before going live.
CroquetClaude built a system to pull news posts automatically from club channels. This helps club news reach the public faster.
What the problem was
Club news often takes too long to reach the public. Someone usually has to write the stories up separately.
What was built
CroquetClaude created a system to pull posts from Facebook, RevolutionsSport websites, WordPress sites, and plain web pages. It covers all 41 Queensland croquet clubs.
- Phase 1 mapped where news lives online for every club.
- Phase 2 built an AI classifier to sort stories.
- Phase 2 also built an AI polisher to tidy up rough posts.
What it means for you
The system can organise and polish club posts automatically. This removes the need to rewrite news for the CAQ site.
Where it stands
Phases 1 and 2 were completed and shipped between 25 and 30 April 2026. The project is now paused and is not switched on. The phase to publish posts live on the news site has not been built yet. The current work is ready to resume.
