Club Hub goes from a bare forum to a real site for club volunteers
The old 42-member forum is now a full guide to running a club, with the forum still inside it.
The Club Hub has been updated from a basic forum to a full publication with guides on club operations. The site went live in August 2026, and the original forum has been integrated into the new site.
What the problem was
The old Club Hub was a bare forum. It had 42 users and around 40 discussion threads, but nothing else.
The main CAQ website advertised a bigger version of the site. This promise was ahead of the reality because that version did not exist yet.
What was built
A proper publication now sits at the same address. It is organised into sections that cover the actual parts of running a club.
You can find real written guides on money and grants, insurance, and safety. Other sections cover the constitution, committee, volunteers, running events, and working with children.
The forum did not disappear during this process. It's still there, now as one section of the new site alongside the guides, so existing members lost nothing.
What it means for you
You now have access to a full site rather than just a forum. The guides provide concrete help for your club operations.
The transition was handled carefully to protect your access. A password-reset email was requested and tested before the site went live.
This was done to confirm members could still log in without trouble. If that check had failed, there was no password-reset fallback to catch it, which matters given most members are older and less likely to work around a broken login on their own.
Where it stands
The site is live as at August 2026. The cutover was completed with no announcement.
The team ensured the login was tested end to end first. You can now use the full range of resources available at the address.
