Come & Try gets a club-facing display and a Command Centre for organisers
One screen for the whole Come & Try funnel, including the text messages, built and proven against real Wide Bay data.
Come & Try now has a single screen inside myCroquet that shows the whole funnel for a club, from a person's first sign-up through to their first session, including the text messages back and forth. It was built and proven against real Wide Bay data in late June 2026, and is waiting on the go-ahead to reach every club.
What the problem was
Come & Try runs a lot of small, fast-moving steps: someone signs up, gets matched to a club, books a time, gets a reminder, and the club gets a heads-up. Before this build, there was no single place to see all of that for a club at once, and no way to read or reply to a prospect's text messages without going around the system entirely.
What was built
A Come & Try "Command Centre" inside myCroquet, giving a club (or CAQ, for a state-wide view) one screen covering:
- The whole funnel in one view: who has signed up, who has booked, who has attended, rather than piecing it together from separate lists.
- A live text-message inbox, so a club can read what a prospect has sent and reply from the same screen, instead of the message going nowhere.
- A "needs you" queue for people who haven't booked yet and need a nudge, rather than falling through the cracks unnoticed.
- Access scoped per club, so a club only sees its own prospects, while CAQ can see the state-wide picture.
Partway through the build, it turned out the screen had been reading from an older, frozen data store rather than the one actually running Come & Try day to day. That mismatch would have shown stale numbers indefinitely. It was re-pointed at the live system before release, and re-checked against a second AI reviewer for safety before shipping.
What it means for you
Once switched on for your club, whoever runs Come & Try locally gets one place to see everything that's happening with new prospects and reply to their messages directly, rather than juggling several views or missing a text altogether.
Where it stands
Built, tested against real numbers (20 guests, 6 people needing a follow-up nudge) on the test system, and verified safe by 29 June 2026. Live release to clubs is waiting on Wade's go-ahead.
