croquetqld.org and club pages made easier to find on Google

An accidental setting was hiding the whole site from search engines. Fixed, along with matching problems on Club Hub and the Come & Try booking site.

We fixed technical errors that hid our websites from Google. This makes it easier for new players to find our clubs.

What the problem was

The main website accidentally told search engines not to index it.

This made the site and club pages largely invisible on Google.

Other CAQ web areas had similar technical issues.

The crawling instructions file is now open to search bots and AI.

We checked over 500 old web addresses for correct redirects.

FAQ content was added to help AI tools answer common questions.

Club Hub now has a proper sitemap and corrected address settings.

The Come & Try booking area received its first crawling instructions.

Three more platforms were registered with Google Search Console to track performance.

Your club page should now be easier to find via Google.

Volunteers will find Club Hub guides showing up properly in searches.

This work took place from 6 to 10 August 2026.

The main fixes are complete.

A full review of AI visibility is still ongoing.
