Membership module rolls out club-scoped and CAQ-wide access
myCroquet's membership area now knows the difference between a member, a club officer, and a CAQ officer.
Role based access is now live in the membership area, though a few clubs are still waiting on a data clean up.
What the problem was
Everyone using the membership tools saw the same access regardless of their role.
This applied to plain members, club committee members, and CAQ officers needing the state wide picture.
What was built
A proper access model was added to the system.
Plain members now see their own details, club officers see their own club members, and CAQ officers see the full state wide view.
The team tested this with all four real user types before going live to ensure no disruption.
The rollout paused for some clubs because six long serving office holders had no usable email address in CAQ or national records.
Work paused to reconcile this data properly to avoid locking those people out.
What it means for you
Club officers will see tools relevant to running their club rather than a generic member view.
This will happen once the data clean up for their specific club is finished.
Where it stands
The access system has been live since July 2026.
A small number of clubs are still waiting for the switch over while those six missing emails are tracked down.
