A single myCroquet media library for club photos and video
myCroquet's photo area is now one media library for both stills and footage, with 537 existing photos carried across and a first video test run.
myCroquet now has one media library that can hold both stills and footage. Club photos live there. Club video lives on croquetvideos.com, CAQ's video site.
What the problem was
Club photos and club video lived in two separate places. They were disconnected.
What was built
The photos area is now a single library called media.
This collection covers both stills and footage. It uses Cloudflare R2 for storage.
All 537 existing photo records moved into the new system. They are now tagged as photos.
Five Eire Cup videos moved from PeerTube into the library to test it.
What it means for you
Club photos are in the Photos card in myCroquet. Every member has had it since 2 September 2026.
Club video is on croquetvideos.com. That is CAQ's video site, and it is staying.
Where it stands
The library was built and working in April 2026. At first the plan was to move all video into it and close the old video site. That plan changed: after the five-video test, croquetvideos.com stayed as the video site.
