Club newsletters sent from myCroquet now look right
Two bugs fixed in the self-serve newsletter builder, an untracked website link and a tall cover photo breaking the layout, tested to match the older tool exactly.
Two bugs in the myCroquet newsletter builder have been fixed and tested. The fixes are staged, and not yet active for real club sending.
What the problem was
The newsletter builder's two versions, the older staff tool and the newer self-serve builder, had drifted apart.
One link to the CAQ website was not being tracked.
Tall cover photos also broke the layout.
These images buried the header below them.
What was built
The website link is now tracked like every other link.
The system now crops portrait photos to a wide shape.
Tests confirm the output matches the older version in every tracked respect, aside from one noted layout difference for side-by-side stories, which was not part of this fix.
What it means for you
Once the fixes reach real sending, clubs using myCroquet will see accurate click statistics, cover photos in the correct wide shape, and final emails that look professional and consistent.
Where it stands
This work was carried out on 26 July 2026.
The fixes are live on the staging version.
They are not yet active for real club sending.
