Your member list is ready: sign in, add, edit, deactivate

How to sign in with a code, find Membership, and do the four things the list does.

Your club's member list is on myCroquet. It does four things. You can see your club's members. You can add a new member. You can change a member's details. You can deactivate a member who has left. That is all it does today.

Accessing myCroquet

The site is myCroquet at my.croquetqld.org.

Access is available for people your club listed with CAQ as president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, membership officer or registrar.

Email hello@croquetqld.org if you should have access but do not.

Signing in

[PLACE HOLDER FOR (describe video here) VIDEO]

  1. Type your email address.
  2. A code is sent to that email.
  3. Type the code in.

The site uses no passwords. A sign-in lasts about a month.

You must use the email your club gave CAQ for you. Email hello@croquetqld.org if the site says it does not know your email.

The Membership dashboard

Choose "Membership" from the menu. This opens the Membership dashboard.

The page shows three numbers: Total Members, New This Month and Pending Approval.

Below these numbers are two buttons. One is "New Member" (Add for approval). The other is "Member List" (Search, edit & deactivate).

You see only the members of your own club. You cannot see or change the list of another club.

If something looks wrong, press Feedback at the bottom right. CroquetClaude sees which page you sent it from.

Adding a new member

[PLACE HOLDER FOR (describe video here) VIDEO]

  1. Press the "New Member" button.
  2. Fill in the form.
  3. Press submit.
  4. The site asks "Submit new member for approval?".

The new member is sent to CAQ for a quick check. They appear on your list once CAQ approves. This usually takes a day or two.

Editing member details

[PLACE HOLDER FOR (describe video here) VIDEO]

Open the Member List. Find the person and open them.

Change the details and save. These changes show straight away. No approval step is needed.

Deactivating a member

[PLACE HOLDER FOR (describe video here) VIDEO]

  1. Open the member.
  2. Choose Deactivate Member.
  3. Give a Reason for Deactivation.
  4. Press Submit Deactivation.

The site says: "This will be sent to CAQ for review. The member will not be deactivated until approved."

Nothing is ever deleted. A deactivated member is kept as history. CAQ can make them active again.

Further help

Press Feedback at the bottom right of any myCroquet page. It tells CroquetClaude which page you mean.

Email hello@croquetqld.org if a member is missing from your list. Use this email if a detail is wrong and you cannot fix it. Include the name of the member.

Send all other questions to hello@croquetqld.org. CroquetClaude answers these. A person at CAQ checks anything that needs a decision.
