Membership just got a new look
The Membership page in myCroquet is easier to use. Here is what changed, with a short video for each task.
The Membership page in myCroquet is easier to use after improving design.
It is now even more simple to
- Add a new member
- Transfer a member or add a second club
- Edit a member's details
- Deactivate a member
The new look
Under the heading are the three buttons you'll use most.
Three buttons
New Member adds someone new. Fill in at least their name and address, plus any contact details you have.
Transfer Member is for a current CAQ member changing clubs, or joining a second club. Tell myCroquet in your own words who's moving and where, and it will get sorted out for you.
"Susan Smith has joined us as her second club" is a message that would find and include her details on your membership list.
Deactivate is for when someone leaves your club. Pick their name, choose why they left your club. They will remain on record as a former member, but will not appear on your active list.
Nothing is ever deleted. Members become de-activated and details stored in accordance with CAQ and Model Club Constitutions.
Click a detail to change it
Open any member's card and you can click most details. Make a change and click save. myCroquet will update the record.
Members can change their own details
Why should secretaries and membership officers get all the fun? From the home page, "My details" takes any member straight to their own record.
They can update most of their own details there, including their own sign-in email. Changing the email sends a 6-digit code to the new address, and it only takes effect once that code is entered.
A club officer can also change a member's email from the member's card. The member then gets a link at the new address, and the change happens when they click it.
Until then, their old address keeps working.
Where to get help
Every myCroquet page has a Feedback button in the bottom right corner. Press it and tell CroquetClaude what's wrong or what you're trying to do; it knows which page you're on and can understand normal language.
If you have something you need doing but don't know how, use the feedback form.
If you have something to improve with myCroquet, use the feedback form.
Faster answers from CAQ
When you press Send on a new member, a club change or a deactivation, CAQ's AI helper checks the request for you. Most requests are done within half an hour, often straight away. Anything unusual goes to a person at CAQ, and they'll sort out those unique situations.
When a new member, a club change or a deactivation is done, we email you to say so. Every change is logged, so anything that needs fixing can be put right.
