What comes next, and what would help your treasurer?

President John van Barneveld wants healthy clubs. He believes this starts with organising ourselves.

This is the beginning of CAQ giving clubs the tools to make their operations easier and grow their membership and helper base.

Using myCroquet today is really basic at launch.

The Membership module is the only thing displayed to you now.

You can see your member list, add new names, edit details, or deactivate members.

Other tools are ready to go now:

• Club Profile: This page holds your clubs details, playing times, committee, and photos. It keeps your club's main information in one place, that's easily updated by you. Currently there is no good record that is easily kept of all our club's details and information.

• Custom website: Once the club updates its details, it gets a free custom website on its own domain.

• Come and Try: This is a CAQ promotion tool. It brings new people to your door to try the sport. Your club does not have to run its own advertising.

But first we want you to log in and take note of the membership list.

Once you have logged in we can introduce further tools. First things first.

It won't stop there, there are many other modules created to make things easier for those who run our clubs.

These tools include:

• Grants: This finds grants your club may be eligible for. It helps put the application together and prepare the project, so there's less effort and a better chance of the grant succeeding.
• Treasurer tools: This helps a treasurer reconcile the club bank account. It catches what does not match without a spreadsheet built by hand.
• A shared events calendar: This puts every club's events in one place. Members and other clubs can see and enter without emailing around to find out what is on.
• Secretary tools: This is a simple place for a secretary to write and keep agendas and committee minutes. It creates one record instead of scattered documents, and assists with monthly reporting duties.
